The Incidents area of Injury Master allows you to:

1. Add a new Incident to the Injury Master system
1. View, add and edit details of Incidents already in the system

The purpose of the Incidents area is to record the details of incidents:

1. In the initial stages of a person-related incident resulting in a workplace injury before a Workers Compensation Claim form is submitted
1. Where the incident results in workplace damage or an injury but not a Workers Compensation Claim
1. A non-work-related injury. For example, where a worker has experienced a personal injury and adjustments are being made to support their return to work.

Incidents can be converted to a claim at any time from within the specific incident. For further information, please refer to __Viewing Incidents__.
